Design handoff

Pull a client's logo, colors, fonts and tokens straight from their live site before design starts.

Every redesign starts with the same chase. Ask the client for the logo. Get a low-res PNG. Ask again. Ask what the brand colors are. Get “the blue one”.

The live site already answers all of it. Brand extraction reads the logo, palette and fonts from the domain, and the styleguide call returns the CSS tokens and the type scale. Screenshots at desktop, tablet and phone widths give you the reference pictures.

A handoff in four steps

  1. Run the domain through the tool on the home page to see what we find.
  2. Call brand and styleguide through the API for the structured data.
  3. Capture screenshots at the widths you will design for.
  4. Drop the lot into your design system or your Figma tokens.

You still talk to the client. You just start the conversation with their palette on the table instead of asking for it.

Who uses it this way

Agencies onboarding clients, freelancers pitching a redesign, and builders generating on-brand sites or emails from a domain. If you build an app that needs to “look like” a customer’s company, this is the data source.

Pricing is on the pricing page; brand calls use weighted credits.

Questions

What if the live site is outdated?

Then you capture the outdated look. Treat the output as a starting point and confirm with the client, but it beats starting from nothing.
